I don't know about you, but there is nothing that we enjoy more (with the exception of clearance sales) than a pleasant picnic on a sunny day. Here are some of our ideas to make your picnicing adventure a bangin' time.
1. Pick a park, make sure you don't go somewhere too muddy or filled with kids playing football. All you need is a hefty grass stain and a bunch of whiney children to spoil your day, no thank you.
2. Pack a basket, if you don't have any food in your house pick up a pizza or some sushi on the way.
3. Bring some fashion or gossip magazines to geek out with.
4. Bring your iPod speakers for some quality listening fun.
Picnic Playlist:
• Another Sunny Day--Belle & Sebastian
• Quelqu'un M'a Dit--Carla Bruni
• Paper Planes--M.I.A
• Eyes--Rogue Wave
• Butterfly Nets--Bishop Allen
• Condor Avenue--Elliott Smith
• Blue Skies--Albert Hammond Jr.
• Son's Gonna Rise--Citizen Cope
• Technicolor Eyes--Backseat Goodbye
• Postcards From Italy--Beirut
• I Turn My Camera On--Spoon

• Not Going Home--The Elected
• Running Out--Mates of State
5. Wear some snazzy sunglasses for that bright sun.
We went on a picnic last Saturday and had an excellent time. There was a slightly sketchy situation with some obvious drug dealers attempting to hit on us, but it was easily avoided by ignoring them/waving them off.
