So, I have compiled a little collagey thing of some frugal finds I have come across. You may notice a theme. Yes, I am feeling very bright and disco at the moment. Other frugal finds posts will be less...red yellow blue green fluorescence.



01. FredFlare.com | Okay, I lied, it's not exactly the most frugal. It's about $25 dollars, but come on, it's incredible. And don't get the Charlie Brown one, I just liked the boy in that picture. Definitely go for Schroeder, because as Cass says, "Schroeder is the ultimate symbol of tortured musician...he is the original emo."

02. Fredflare.com | $5.99 Babayyyy. Totally worth it, too. Risky Business gone disco indie. You know you want it.

03. Threadless.com | $12 Girls, $15 Boys. One of my (new) favorite sites. Threadless allows you to send in T-Shirt designs, and potentially win prizes. Basically, you're guarenteed to have a really original shirt.

04. PartyCity.com | $4.99. I am fairly certain these speak for themselves.

05. Claires.com | $3.50. Don't tell me you can resist neon glitter. I'm sorry, but I don't believe you if you say you can.

06. Youtube.com | FREE. No way. Well, I just felt like including this, because it's funny and ironic. And free entertainment. What more could you ask for?

I've always had a little obsession with french film. But I saw one recently that inspired me to basically no end. It's no surprise that Day For Night was named one of Time Magazine's Top 400 Films ever made. To give a brief little synopsis, it was filmed in the 70's (when I should have been born) by famed director François Truffaut. The movie is about the making of a (fake) movie called Je Vous Presente Pamela (May I Present Pamela). It stars Jacqueline Bisset, definitely in my top ten most beautiful women of all time. She's seriously stunning, I'm completely envious. The movie is one of those ones where you see it, are not sure if you like it, and then as time passes you realize how incredible it was.
I obviously am obsessed with french culture, I mean there's no doubt about that. But Day for Night is a movie that I insist anyone see.
Anyway, it inspired me. And I made a little collage.
If anyone comes across $1300, be sure to send it to me so I can buy the Dior Oui ring.

Patrick Wolf may just be a mad man but he is the soundtrack to my city life. His deep voice is completely hypnotising. Too bad he is gay and far away (ie England).

Hello pretties, I'm Lily. I'm definitely older, but no more mature. I have a big thing for French culture, and am counting down the days until I can get out of the U.S. and live in Paris. My style icons are Audrey Hepburn and Cory Kennedy (really different, yes.) I am completely devoted to NYLON magazine and won't have it any other way. Unless i-D, Zink, or Paper puts out a good issue that month. I write in her Moleskine notebook whenever she can, because it's maybe the coolest thing I own.
